LL COOL J & Roxanne Shanté announce the ROCK THE BELLS FESTIVAL lineup featuring Ice Cube, Rick Ross, Lil’ Kim & many more
This morning, LL COOL J and Roxanne Shanté announced the lineup for the first live concert experience from Rock The Bells, ROCK THE BELLS FESTIVAL, on LL COOL J’s Rock The Bells Radio (Ch. 43).
LL joined Roxanne’s show today at 9 am ET and revealed the day-long celebration will take place at Forest Hills Stadium in their hometown of Queens, NY, on Saturday, August 6th, 2022. Hosted by Roxanne, the can’t-miss event will showcase live performances by Hip-Hop legends LL COOL J himself, Ice Cube, Rick Ross, Lil’ Kim, The Diplomats ft. Cam’ron, and many more (see the full lineup below).
During the live broadcast, LL also shared audio from personal phone calls with artists featured in the star-studded lineup, offering a deeper look at what fans can expect on August 6. ROCK THE BELLS FESTIVAL will feature live performances, interactive experiences, art exhibits, food, fashion and much more. Coverage from the event will air exclusively on Rock The Bells Radio. The festival marks the first live concert experience from Rock The Bells, the globally celebrated Hip-Hop platform founded by LL COOL J, bringing fans a fully immersive festival moment as they experience LL’s personal love letter to Hip-Hop through the lens of music, art, fashion, culture, food, and much more.
The festival also kicks off a week of live events, activations and programming moments to celebrate the anniversary of Hip-Hop across the city that launched a movement and changed the world.
