Lucinda Williams sat down with her friend Steve Earle to talk about her new album, “World’s Gone Wrong,” during a new episode of his show on Outlaw Country, “Steve Earle: Hardcore Troubadour Radio.”
In the interview, Lucinda and Steve also reflected on her early years and looked back at recording “Car Wheels on a Gravel Road”; discussed her career after having a stroke in 2020; and delved into some of her new songs with Brittney Spencer, Mavis Staples, and Norah Jones, which are played during the show.
Released on January 23, “World’s Gone Wrong” is the country legend’s 16th studio album and features 10 songs, including the title track.
