As Metallica’s M72 World Tour begins its North American run this weekend in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the band’s bassist Robert Trujillo returns to the Howard Stern channels to pick his all-time favourite songs on a new series, “Songs I Want To Hear.”
Howard’s relationship with Metallica goes back nearly three decades. The band has performed live on his show 5 times. This new special is the latest chapter in their long history.
Robert Trujollo’s musical taste ranges from disco funk to thrash metal. On the debut episode of “Songs I Want To Hear,” he picks his songs and tells stories that reveal why they are so impactful to him and his career as a musician.
