Niall Horan stopped by the SiriusXM Studios for an exclusive Hits 1 Celebrity Session. In front of a live studio audience, the Irish singer talked all things The Show — his brand new album, now out — and performed “Heaven,” “You Could Start a Cult,” “Meltdown,” and a cover of Zach Bryan’s song “Something in the Orange.”
Speaking with SiriusXM Hits 1 host Mikey Piff, Niall opened up about his songwriting and how the situations and experiences he explores in The Show may originate from his own life, but he wants everyone listening to be able to relate to them too.
“I always try and write about myself, about my life, about what I’m going through, and then with the aim of making sure that everybody understands what I’m saying,” Niall Horan explained. “There’s a lot of artists out there where you need a thesaurus and an IQ of ten-thousand-billion to figure out what they’re saying. And I’ve always liked to write about myself but make sure it’s relatable for everyone else.”
