Rick Wakeman is one of the most influential keyboard players in the history of rock. Along with being a member of prog rock giants and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members Yes, he’s played on classic tracks by David Bowie, Lou Reed, Elton John, and Cat Stevens, to name just a few.
This week, as Wakeman crosses North America on his Grump Ole Rick tour, David Fricke chats with the legendary musician about his life and storied career with Yes as well as his solo work, plus Rick performs a few songs on the piano.
