Willie Nelson was famously born in the middle of the night, but while he’s traditionally celebrated his birthday over just two days — April 29 and 30 — Willie’s Roadhouse (Ch. 59) is extending the party throughout the weekend! Enjoy one hell of a ride with exclusive programming in honour of Willie’s 88th birthday kicking off on Thursday, April 29th at 5 pm ET.
During the four-day bonanza, hear a new Virtual Birthday Card special hosted by Willie’s daughter Paula Nelson with her brothers and sisters Lukas, Micah, Amy, Lana, Susie, and their 90-year-old aunt, “Sister Bobbie,” plus a conversation between John Spong of Texas Monthly and Dallas Wayne featuring highlights of Season 2 of the One By Willie podcast. Willie’s Roadhouse will also be airing exclusive specials, including the recent ‘That’s Life’ Album Release Special for his latest tribute to Frank Sinatra — featuring Nancy Sinatra, along with producers Buddy Cannon and Matt Rollings — all three episodes of the Willie-hosted From His Roadhouse to Yours, as well as new birthday episodes of Austin Outer Limits with Ray Benson and Sundays with Seely with Jeannie Seely.
