Manager, Lifecycle Marketing Streaming

Reporting to the Senior Director, Streaming and Aftermarket

The primary responsibility of this position is to enhance listenership through strategic utilization of email and push notifications during the trial subscription phase. You will be tasked with crafting engaging content, optimizing communication channels, and analyzing user behaviour to drive conversions and retention.

Job Details


Content Strategy:

  • Develop compelling email and push notification content to encourage trial subscribers to engage with the platform.
  • Create personalized messaging that resonates with different listener segments to maximize conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency and alignment with brand voice and objectives.

Channel Optimization:

  • Identify the most effective channels and frequency for delivering email and push notifications to maximize open rates and user engagement.
  • Implement A/B testing methodologies to optimize subject lines, content, timing, and frequency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve channel performance.

User Experience Enhancement:

  • Analyze user feedback and behaviour to identify pain points and opportunities for improving the trial subscription experience.
  • Work closely with the US business and product development teams to implement user-centric features and enhancements.
  • Monitor user journey metrics and implement strategies to reduce churn and increase retention.

Performance Analysis:

  • Utilize data analytics tools to track the effectiveness of email and push notification campaigns.
  • Generate reports and insights to measure key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, engagement metrics, and subscriber retention.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing and product teams to ensure alignment and cohesion in messaging and strategies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to inform broader marketing and product initiatives aimed at improving overall listenership and user experience.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Level of Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Job-related Experience

  • 3-5+ years industry experience
  • Proven experience in email marketing, push notification strategies, or digital marketing roles.

Skills & Background

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
