DeAndre Terrell, known as DJ FOCUS, is a husband, father, mentor, athlete, servant of God, and Christian hip-hop DJ. He was born and raised in East Cleveland, Ohio and developed a love for music at a very young age. While in middle school, he acquired a deeper affection for the art of hip-hop and often debated with peers the latest and greatest hip-hop trends at sports practices and the barbershop. Unfortunately, explicit hip-hop hugely impacted his adolescent life, leading him to live a fast life in the streets.
After surrendering his life to Christ and studying the Bible, God’s plan was confirmed. One of his former coworkers identified his passion for Christian hip-hop, and that is how the radio show was born. At that moment, he realized money, power, and fame would never satisfy his soul, and God showed him a higher purpose through music. DA FIXX Radio Show’s goal is to promote positive, relevant, and transparent music that touches on life and faith. His focus is to motivate, encourage and keep Jesus Christ at the center of the message.

Al Sharpton, Kirk Franklin, Lecrae, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Da’ T.R.U.T.H., NBA star Allan Houston, and Fox Sports’ Chris Broussard.
