On March 25th, the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin turns 74 years old. From her start in the early 60s through her 80s pop hits and beyond, Ms. Franklin has been one of the most dominant artists in music history. From soul to gospel to rock, her impact can’t be underplayed, as she’s been a huge influence on musicians both male and female. To celebrate her birthday, we compiled five of her greatest musical moments from the last 30 years, and believe me, it was hard to stop with just five.
You can hear the best of Aretha across SiriusXM channels including 60s on 6, 80s on 8, Soul Town and Heart & Soul.
