During a recent appearance on Radio Andy’s “The Julia Cunningham Show,” Anya Taylor-Joy shared a behind-the-scenes moment from filming “Dune” that caught her completely off guard. The actress also looked back on a prank that briefly disrupted production on her upcoming movie, “Lucky,” in Las Vegas.
Anya, who made her debut as Alia Atreides in “Dune: Part Two,” said one of the strangest moments of filming came when she unexpectedly stumbled upon a prosthetic version of the character.
“I got to meet the baby version of me on set and it was a surprise,” Taylor-Joy told host Julia Cunningham. “I walked into the prosthetics area and there was fetus me, and I have some insane pictures of me with fetus me.”
She added with a laugh:
“Yeah, she’s creepy, but I like her.”
Anya appeared briefly in D”une: Part Two” as the adult vision of Alia Atreides and is set to reprise the role in the highly anticipated “Dune: Part Three.”
