Gretzky talks the World Cup of Hockey on the Power Play

This past Tuesday the Great One, Wayne Gretzky joined Scott Laughlin and Boomer Gordon on the Power Play. The three discussed the World Cup, Team North America, and the Canada vs USA rivalry.

“In the old days it used to be Canada and the Soviet Union and Canada and Russia,” recalled Gretzky about World Cups of yesteryear. “Now with the addition of the Soviet great American players…obviously the Canadian/US rivalry has taken on a new meaning.”

Gretzky also talked about how Connor McDavid will become one of the most elite players to ever play the game.
