Namath also commented on the Jets’ prospects for the upcoming season with Rodgers at the helm. “With Aaron, man, we kind of feel like we know we can do it,” he said. “The team should feel that way. I mean, they’re improving. The draft choices they brought in Joe Douglas in just a couple of short years have put together some good players. But competition is keen, man, and Lady Luck plays a role.”
