In honour of the 30th anniversary of Metallica‘s fifth studio album, Metallica (more commonly called The Black Album), Ozzy’s Boneyard (Ch. 38) is going behind the board with the band. Tune in from Thursday, August 12th at 6 pm ET through Sunday, August 15th at midnight to hear Metallica share hourly stories, insight and songs off the 1991 album, plus tracks from their forthcoming star-studded Blacklist cover album.

Metallica was released on August 12, 1991, by Elektra Records. Referred to as The Black Album due to its package design, the album consisted of hit tracks like “Enter Sandman,” “The Unforgiven,” and “Nothing Else Matters.” It’s been certified 16x Platinum by RIAA.
