As you don your green apparel and fill your house with the half-beloved, half-maligned aroma of corned beef and cabbage, soundtrack your St. Patrick’s Day celebration with our annual pop-up music channel and a holiday-themed special featuring modern and contemporary Irish music.
On St. Patrick’s Day itself, Thursday, March 17th, shamrock around the clock with contemporary music from artists like Flogging Molly or jig to classics from The Dubliners, The Chieftains and others all day long. While urban legend says St. Patrick is famous for driving snakes out of Ireland, this day-long soundtrack will drive away your blues faster than you can say “sláinte.” Hear it starting at 3 am ET on The Spectrum (Ch. 28).
Plus, our Paint the Town Green: The Ultimate St. Paddy’s Day Music Mix has the perfect tunes to get the party going. From Celtic punk and rock to more traditional Irish and Celtic tunes, enjoy over five hours of Sinead O’Connor, The Pogues, Dropkick Murphy, Enya and much more.
