Sebastian Maniscalco is launching We Got Company, a new monthly SiriusXM series.
On the heels of announcing she will be an opener on Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated Eras Tour, indie star Phoebe Bridgers is giving us an all-new episode of her SiriusXM show, Saddest Factory Radio with Phoebe Bridgers.
In the upcoming episode, Phoebe and her drummer and ex-boyfriend, Marshall Vore, will once again spin songs by their favourite artists, including bands from her Saddest Factory Records label. Tune in to SiriusXMU (Ch. 35) starting Thursday, December 1st at 6 pm ET to hear special guest singer/songwriter Christian Lee Hutson, with songs from Neko Case, Paul Westerberg, Frankie Cosmos and more. Catch replays of the episode during the times below, or listen to it after its debut and previous editions of the show on the SXM App.
Thursday, December 1st at 6 pm and 9 pm
Friday, December 2nd at 10 am
Saturday, December 3rd at 3 pm
Sunday, December 4th at 6 pm
Tuesday, December 6th at 12 am
The show, which serves up “outside-of-the-box thinking and audio trust falls,” features Phoebe at the helm guiding listeners through artist-to-artist conversations and, of course, her favourite songs. In the debut episode, the GRAMMY nominee shared song recommendations for fans’ questions — from soundtracking a stolen toothbrush with underscores’ “Everybody’s Dead!” to a drive through the Italian countryside set to “Dead End Street” by Blake Mills.
“I wanted to make a playlist based on when music feels the best … and one of the times music feels the best is when I’m miserable,” Bridgers explained. “When I’m down bad, and I want to be more down and more bad, these are the songs that I listen to.”
