The cast of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” – Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, and Mari Yamamoto – sat down for an exclusive “Front Row” special, hosted by SiriusXM host Sam Roberts, to discuss Season 2 of their Apple TV series.
During their conversation, Kurt said his family would be “thrilled” if Kate Hudson won a “historic” Academy Award on March 15, plus Wyatt dished on filming his standout “Black Mirror” episode and reflected on growing up on the set of his father’s 1993 classic western, “Tombstone.”
“We’d go home from that magical, amazing set where it was so cool,” Wyatt recalls of “Tombstone.” “But then I’d go home, I’d sleep on the couch, but I’d be half awake and watching him till three in the morning smoking cigarettes, writing the next day’s stuff. And so there was this balance between this is so fun, this is so cool. Oh, and it’s also impossible, and you don’t sleep.”
