Saturday, July 4th – 1:35 pm Eastern
Minnesota Twins at New York Yankees

“Saturday…in the Park…I think it was the 4th of July”.  Happy 250th Independence Day from Yankee Stadium, as the Bronx Bombers welcome the Minnesota Twins. It’s not been fireworks for New York recently, who recently were swept in a four-game series by the rival Boston Red Sox. The Yanks still are the class of the American League East, along with the Tampa Bay Rays. As for the visitors, the Twins are struggling to get to the .500 mark, which would put them smack dab in the middle of the pennant race in their division.

Sunday, July 5th – 5:00 pm Eastern
Toronto Blue Jays at Seattle Mariners

The Class of 1977 meet up in the American Northwest. The M’s are battling with the Texas Rangers for the top spot in the AL West, while the visiting Blue Jays are still hoping to reignite the magic they rode all the way to the World Series last autumn. They are in the mix for one of the two American League wildcard spots.

Monday, July 6th – 7:15 pm Eastern
New York Mets at Atlanta Braves

Having recently fired their skipper, can the underachieving Mets do an about-face and get back into the National League East pennant race? Yeah, so far it’s not looking so good. As of this writing, New York was a distant 15.5 games behind the division-leading Braves.

Tuesday, July 7th – 9:45 pm Eastern
Toronto Blue Jays at San Francisco Giants

The Jays take their act from Seattle down the coast to SF. The Giants are so far behind the Dodgers in the National League West, they might as well ship the franchise back to New York. Meaning Toronto should emerge with the series win, and slowly make their way up the AL East standings.

Wednesday, July 8th – 7:40 pm Eastern
Boston Red Sox at Chicago White Sox

It’s the Bosox at the Chisox, and it’s the Pale Hose who have been enjoying a better season so far. They have a real shot at emerging as the AL Central champs, which is crazy considering how bad this team was the past few seasons. Then again, the AL Central is really only a race between the White Sox and the Cleveland Guardians.

Thursday, July 9th – 7:10 pm Eastern
Philadelphia Phillies at Cincinnati Reds

The Phillies and Braves are locked into a barn-burner of a tussle for the National League East crown. Both these teams will most likely qualify for the 2026 post-season. No such lofty heights for the Reds, who have spent a lot of time in the basement of the NL Central.

Friday, July 10th – 9:40 pm Eastern
Toronto Blue Jays at San Diego Padres

A rare visit to beautiful Petco Park for the Blue Jays. The hometown Padres are once again playing second fiddle to the hated Los Angeles Dodgers, who are leading the entire MLB circuit in win percentage. What does this mean for San Diego? A National League wildcard spot appears to be their path to the post-season, where they hope to finally take down the defending World Series Champions.
