Toronto Blue Jays at Texas Rangers
So are the Blue Jays chasing the Rangers, or the Guardians, or the White Sox for an American League wildcard spot? Or all three? Big wildcard admission series continues this evening in Texas, with both clubs eyeing that wildcard invite. And both clubs haven’t had much else to write home about this season, so playing past Game 162 would be sweet.
Sunday, September 20th – 1:40 pm Eastern
Boston Red Sox at Tampa Bay Rays
Two of the best teams in the American League East meet up this afternoon in sunny Florida, with the hometown Rays looking to nail down top spot in that division. It appears most likely that the Red Sox will meet their long-standing rivals in the wildcard round. You knew that was the Yankees without us even saying so.
Monday, September 21st – 6:35 pm Eastern
Toronto Blue Jays at Baltimore Orioles
Hey, don’t forget Charm City in the wacky, underachieving American League wildcard race! The Orioles can still rise up and grab a playoff spot, but they’ll pretty much have to sweep the Blue Jays in order to do so, as time keeps on ticking, ticking, ticking…into the future. And the future doesn’t look all that good for either side.
Tuesday, September 22nd – 10:10 pm Eastern
San Diego Padres at Los Angeles Dodgers
Yup, the Big Blue Machine keeps on ticking, ticking, ticking. The Dodgers recently wrapped up their 13th NL Division title over the past 14 years. Their rivals to the south, the Padres, have to be content again with a wildcard spot. Is this the year San Diego finally slays the beast when it matters most? Look, let’s be honest; it’s gonna be tough.
Wednesday, September 23rd – 6:40 pm Eastern
Milwaukee Brewers at Philadelphia Phillies
Then again, we present to you the 2026 edition of the Seattle Pilots- we mean, Milwaukee Brewers. They have been the Big Bratwurst Machine for most of the 2026 season, leading all of MLB in wins, and look to storm their way through the upcoming postseason. Tonight they’re in Philadelphia, taking on the fourth-best team in the Senior Circuit.
Thursday, September 24th – 2:10 pm Eastern
Chicago White Sox at Kansas City Royals
Those surprising White Sox are locked in a battle with the Cleveland Guardians for the top spot in the American League Central Division. And it matters big time, because the team that slips down to the wildcard spot has a lot of company to contend with. The Royals? Not this year. KC will most likely finish at the bottom of that division.
Friday, September 25th – 7:07 pm Eastern
Cincinnati Reds at Toronto Blue Jays
The Joey Votto Cup matters to the host Jays, as their AL wildcard pursuit is on life support. Then again, the same can be said for the Rangers, Orioles, White Sox, and Guardians. Who truly wants to play baseball in October? Step right this way. The visiting Reds are most likely going to finish at the bottom of their division.
