Using Apple CarPlay
3 ways to connect to Apple CarPlay
USB Connection
Plug your iPhone into the car’s USB port (look for a CarPlay or smartphone icon).
USB + Wireless
Plug in your iPhone once via USB.
Next time, you’ll get a prompt to connect wirelessly.
Wireless Only
Press and hold the voice command button on your steering wheel. Ensure your car stereo is in Bluetooth or wireless mode.
On your iPhone:
- Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and connect to your car’s network.
- Enable Auto-Join.
- Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, then select your car.
Using Android Auto
2 Ways to connect to Android Auto
USB Connection
Plug your iPhone into the car’s USB port (look for a Android Auto or smartphone icon).
Wireless
- On your phone, open Settings > Bluetooth.
- Press and hold the voice command button on your steering wheel to start pairing.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete Bluetooth pairing.
