Saturday, July 11th – 4:10 pm Eastern
Seattle Mariners at Tampa Bay Rays
Both these squads appear to be headed to the post-season, if the first half of the 2026 campaign is any indication. The Mariners reside in the American League West, so sporting a win-loss record barely over .500 places you right smack dab in the middle of the race for first place. Over in the American League East, standards are a little bit higher, as the former Devil Rays have been going back and forth with the New York Yankees for the top spot.
Sunday, July 12th – 4:10 pm Eastern
Toronto Blue Jays at San Diego Padres
Final day of MLB action before the 2026 All-Star Break. The Blue Jays face the Padres in sunny Petco Park. Jays’ hurler Dylan Cease recently came within three outs of his second career no-hitter during a 10-0 thrashing of the Giants in San Francisco. Cease accomplished the no-no back in July 2024…with the San Diego Padres. The first half of the 2026 MLB season has not been a picnic for either club, with Toronto well back of the Rays and Yankees in the American League East, while the Padres are also well off the pace set by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League West.
Monday, July 13th – NO MLB GAMES SCHEDULED
Tuesday, July 14th – 8:00 pm Eastern
MLB All-Star Game from Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia
The 96th Major League Baseball All-Star Game goes tonight in the City of Brotherly Love, a fitting locale during the 250th Anniversary celebrations for American Independence. For the past number of years, the Junior Circuit (AL) has gotten the better of the Senior Circuit (NL). Last year in Atlanta, the NL prevailed 7-6. The American League enters this game with a slight edge (48-45-2) in the win column.
Wednesday, July 15th – NO MLB GAMES SCHEDULED
Thursday, July 16th – 7:10 pm Eastern
New York Mets at Philadelphia Phillies
The New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies get back to action in Philly, the one game on the MLB schedule this evening. These two National League East residents are leading very different lives this season. The Phillies have been keeping pace with the division-leading Atlanta Braves, while the Mets have been keeping pace with hitting the links early. New York has been a colossal disappointment so far, sitting dead last in the division, and well back of a wildcard spot.
Friday, July 17th – 7:15 pm Eastern
Chicago White Sox at Toronto Blue Jays
Everybody else gets back into the swing of things this evening, including the White Sox visiting the Blue Jays. It’s been a surprising year so far for the Chisox, who were one of the worst teams in all of baseball the past couple of seasons. While they won’t be mistaken for a World Series contender just yet, the Sox have been going back and forth with the Cleveland Guardians for the top spot in the American Central Division. The Blue Jays are much closer to an AL wildcard spot than first place in the AL East.
