In August 1996, Oasis delivered two record-breaking, era-defining performances in front of 250,000 fans in Knebworth Park in England. Recently, the iconic rock band released a feature-length documentary of the historic event, Oasis Knebworth 1996, which is now being followed up with a special live album.
Lithium (Ch. 34) is giving listeners the chance to hear the world premiere of the live album on Thursday, November 18th at 10 am ET, one day before its worldwide release. Oasis lead vocalist and guitarist Noel Gallagher will also join host Kat Corbett for an exclusive interview.
The live album will feature a setlist packed with classics from both nights of the concert, including the opening salvos of “Columbia” and “Acquiesce,” to “Champagne Supernova,” “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” “Live Forever,” an orchestra-backed “I Am The Walrus,” and “Wonderwall,” the first song from the ’90s to reach over one billion streams.
