Shaggy fans can enjoy a lucky day when Mr. Boombastic takes over SiriusXM FLY (Ch. 47) with an all-new, weekly music show, Shaggy’s Yaad, starting on Sunday, July 4th at 3 pm ET.
The GRAMMY Award-winning reggae icon’s show will feature a wide range of contemporary, rare, and classic tracks spanning the hip-hop, dancehall, and reggae genres with insights from Shaggy about the musical history of his Jamaican homeland and its global impact. Best known for hits like “It Wasn’t Me,” “Angel,” and others, Shaggy will take listeners on a cultural journey through Jamaica’s influence on music, from old school to modern songs; expect to hear music from Barrington Levy, Rihanna, Sean Paul, and many more.
After episodes premiere, Shaggy’s Yaad will rebroadcast on Tuesdays at 11 am ET, Thursdays at 5 pm ET, and Saturdays at 12 am ET.
