Saturday, April 3rd – Philadelphia Flyers at New York Islanders

7 pm Eastern on SiriusXM 91

With the season soon to enter its home stretch, teams such as the Flyers have to get things into gear, or they’ll miss the 2021 post-season cut. Tonight, they face an Islanders squad who are always tough to play against. It didn’t help that Philly lost 6-1 to Buffalo to close out the month of March.

Sunday, April 4th – Detroit Red Wings at Tampa Bay Lightning

12 pm Eastern on SiriusXM 91

While it’s about the future for the rebuilding Red Wings, the Lightning are defending Stanley Cup Champions, and are looking to become the first team since the Penguins to take home the big mug two years in a row. The Bolts have hit a bit of a dry patch recently, but they’re in no danger of missing the playoffs. But will they finish first in the Central Division?

Monday, April 5th – Arizona Coyotes at Los Angeles Kings

10 pm Eastern on SiriusXM 91

A battle of two teams that have aspirations of grabbing the fourth and final playoff invite in the West Division. Better days are ahead for the Kings, who have stockpiled an impressive array of young talent, but some of their old guns have been firing on all cylinders, so the post-season this season is possible. The Coyotes are also in that dogfight.

Tuesday, April 6th – Pittsburgh Penguins at New York Rangers

7 pm Eastern on SiriusXM 91

After a management change, the Penguins have looked impressive, and tonight tangle with a young Rangers’ teams that might not claw their way into the tough East Division playoff race this time around, but will certainly be a factor in that discussion in the seasons to come.

Wednesday, April 7th – Montreal Canadiens at Toronto Maple Leafs

7:30 pm Eastern on SiriusXM 91

While the Maple Leafs battle for first in the North Division, the Canadiens are trying to hang on to the fourth, and final, North playoff slot. These two teams could end up facing each other in the post-season for the first time since 1979.

Thursday, April 8th – Winnipeg Jets at Montreal Canadiens

7:30 pm Eastern on SiriusXM 91

One of the teams vying for first in the North is the Winnipeg Jets, who have reigning Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck between the pipes, and feature an impressive array of forwards. They face a Habs team that are not as deep when it comes to scoring.

Friday, April 9th – Colorado Avalanche at Anaheim Ducks

10 pm Eastern on SiriusXM 91h

For the past few weeks, the now mostly healthy Avalanche have been playing the high-level hockey most of us expected from them this season. Tonight, they take on an offensively challenged Ducks team that has been in the West Division basement for the majority of this year.
