On January 11th, 2022, the Indigenous music community lost a cherished musician, advocate and friend, Vince Fontaine. He was a founding member of the Juno award winning roots-rock band Eagle & Hawk, and the folk pop group Indian City. A member of Sagkeeng First Nation, Fontaine was a proud father, husband, and leader in his community.
