Six-time PGA TOUR winner Rocco Mediate hosts ‘The Rocco Hour’ every week

Rocco Mediate

Six-time PGA TOUR winner Rocco Mediate is joining the roster of hosts on SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio (Ch. 92). Mediate will have his own show, The Rocco Hour, which he will host exclusively for SiriusXM every Tuesday at 6 pm ET beginning March 7.

On his debut show, Mediate will preview the PLAYERS Championship (taking place this year from March 9-12), an event he played in 21 times with three top-10 finishes. SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio will air live play-by-play of all four rounds of the PLAYERS Championship from TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, FL. Live on-course coverage starts at 11 am ET on Thursday and Friday and at 12 pm ET on Saturday and Sunday.

“I have 38 years of PGA TOUR experience. I see and remember everything!” said Mediate. “I have so much to say, and I’m excited to have my own show on SiriusXM where I can share it with our listeners. So buckle up! It’s going to be fun!”

Mediate joined the PGA TOUR in 1986 and earned the first of his six tour wins at the 1991 Doral-Ryder Open. He finished in the top 10 in major tournaments four times in his career. Perhaps the most memorable of these was his runner-up finish at the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines, when he competed head-to-head against Tiger Woods over 19 playoff holes. Mediate has four wins on PGA TOUR Champions since joining in 2013, including a major victory in the Senior PGA Championship in 2016.
