Saturday, April 25th – 3:00 pm Eastern
Cleveland Guardians at Toronto Blue Jays
Saturday afternoon baseball from the Dome today, as the Blue Jays clash with the Guardians. In the tightly wound Central Division, Cleveland is right in the mix for the top spot. Toronto has not enjoyed the most stellar of starts to the 2026 season, but it is within striking distance of a playoff spot, as the rest of the division also hasn’t set the baseball world on fire.
Sunday, April 26th – 1:35 pm Eastern
Philadelphia Phillies at Atlanta Braves
So far, the Braves look good. So far, the Phillies don’t. Look good, that is. But it’s early. Still, an interdivisional series is a great opportunity to begin to climb up the standings…or fall further back. Much was expected of the Phillies this season, and only the stumblin’ bumblin’ Mets have kept Philadelphia out of the National League East basement.
Monday, April 27th – 7:07 pm Eastern
Boston Red Sox at Toronto Blue Jays
These American League East rivals go at it in Toronto this week, with the division still up for grabs early in the season. Just don’t fall too far behind is always how to approach the first seven weeks or so of the regular season. To that end, a series win over a divisional rival would help that cause immensely, for both squads.
Tuesday, April 28th – 9:40 pm Eastern
Chicago Cubs at San Diego Padres
Once again, the Padres are trailing the hated Dodgers for first place in the National League West Division. L.A. looks good out of the gate, but so does San Diego. An NL wildcard always remains a path to the postseason. The Cubs are under the palm trees at Petco this evening. Chicago is in the mix early on for first in the NL Central.
Wednesday, April 29th – 7:40 pm Eastern
Arizona Diamondbacks at Milwaukee Brewers
Milwaukee found themselves in last place in the NL Central Division, only because every team in that bracket were above. 500 near the end of April. In two other divisions, the Brew Crew would be sitting in first place. They face a visiting Diamondbacks’ team that is competitive early on in a division that most have already handed to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Thursday, April 30th – 7:40 pm Eastern
Toronto Blue Jays at Minnesota Twins
Toronto opens up a series in the Twin Cities. These two teams met in Toronto earlier this month, with the Twins taking the series 2-1. As usual, a ton of Blue Jays’ fans will make the trip across the border to cheer on the Jays.
Friday, May 1st – 6:40 pm Eastern
Texas Rangers at Detroit Tigers
The first month of the season is in the books, and the Tigers are in a battle with Cleveland and Minnesota for first place in the American League Central Division. This evening, they tangle with the Texas Rangers, who occupy a similar position over in the West Division. Neither team has been overly impressive yet, but with the exception of powerhouse teams such as the Braves, Reds, and Dodgers (always), that appears to be the state of the pennant races after one month. Meaning most teams are still in it (okay, maybe not the Mets).
