Ch-ch-check out the Beastie Boys Book and video from SiriusXM

Beastie Boys
NEW YORK - APRIL 14: Michael 'Mike D' Diamond, Adam 'Ad-Rock' Horovitz and Adam 'MCA' Yauch of The Beastie Boys attends the after party for HBO films presents "Grey Gardens" New York premiere at the Pierre Hotel on April 14, 2009 in New York City.

The Beastie Boys are one of the biggest bands to have come out of the 1980s, and 30 years later their impact hasn’t diminished one bit. Even with the sad passing of founding member Adam Yauch in 2012, the Beasties’ legacy continues to be heard across SiriusXM, on channels like Lithium, Hip-Hop Nation, 90s on 9 and others.

This fall, surviving members Mike D and Ad-Rock reunited to release Beastie Boys Book, a gorgeous hardcover detailing the band’s history, from their early punk rock days to their superstar status as hip-hop pioneers. The book is filled with countless images and anecdotes from band members, friends, and collaborators. The ghost of Adam Yauch clearly ways heavy on his friends, who have done an excellent job in paying tribute to the fallen Beastie, while ensuring his story is told well.
