Montreal Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh Penguins at Montreal Canadiens

His dad Troy was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 1984 (a goaltender…in the same draft as Patrick Roy), and Sidney Crosby has always put up big numbers when playing in the province of Quebec. Tonight, his Penguins look to add two points after getting off to a good start this season and then hitting a bit of a dry spell recently. As for Les Canadiens, their young players are getting a ton of ice time so far this season.

Winnipeg Jets at Seattle Kraken

It’s been a good start so far for the second-year Kraken, who play host to a Jets team that is also enjoying life early on in the 2022-23 regular season. While Winnipeg is expected to challenge for a Western Conference playoff spot, most observers do not expect Seattle to make the post-season this around, but if they keep on racking up wins.

Los Angeles Kings at Calgary Flames

It’s been a stop-and-go kind of season so far for both the Kings and Flames, who are battling for playoff slots in the Pacific Division. Calgary spent the first ten games of the season in the province of Alberta and looks to cash in here on the supposed home-ice advantage.

Tuesday, November 15th – 7 pm Eastern – SiriusXM 91
Toronto Maple Leafs at Pittsburgh Penguins

While they didn’t get off to the greatest of starts this season, it appears the Maple Leafs have steadied the ship, much like they did this time last year. They visit a Penguins squad still looking for some consistency in their overall game.

Wednesday, November 16th – 7 pm Eastern – SiriusXM 91
Buffalo Sabres at Ottawa Senators

A game featuring two Eastern up-and-coming teams that were looking to move up the Conference standings this season. So far, so good for the flashy young Sabres; not so impressive so far for the for-sale Senators.

Thursday, November 17th – 7 pm Eastern – SiriusXM 91
Colorado Avalanche at Carolina Hurricanes

A clash of titans from respective conferences tonight in Raleigh, as the defending Stanley Cup Champions come to town. Colorado haven’t been overwhelming yet this season, but they fully understand they just have to make the playoffs. The same can be said for the host Hurricanes, and while both teams are expected to be in the 2023 post-season, with the league tightening up across the board, one cannot take for granted admission to the spring tournament.

Friday, November 18th – 10 pm Eastern – SiriusXM 91
Los Angeles Kings at Vancouver Canucks

A look at their roster suggests the Vancouver Canucks should be better than their dismal current record, but a porous defence has coughed up a number of multi-goal leads over the first dozen games of the season, hence the reason why the Canucks are already in a struggle to stay afloat in the tightly contested Western Conference playoff race.
