The Yankees visit the Jays and more MLB games to hear this week

Saturday, June 6th – 3:07 pm Eastern
Baltimore Orioles at Toronto Blue Jays
The Jays recently returned from a trip to Atlanta, where the MLB-leading Braves basically made mincemeat of the Blue Birds. Before that, Toronto was in Baltimore to face the O’s, and the teams split a four-game series. Both teams in action this afternoon are struggling to reach (and at least stay) at the .500 mark. Can you say Big Series in June?
Sunday, June 7th – 1:35 pm Eastern
Pittsburgh Pirates at Atlanta Braves
This afternoon’s meeting is a long way from the classic 1992 National League Championship Series. But it has potential. These days, the Braves are the class of the Senior Circuit, while the Bucs are doing alright in the surprisingly competitive NL Central Division. Where’s Sid Bream when you need him?
Monday, June 8th – 7:07 pm Eastern
Philadelphia Phillies at Toronto Blue Jays
The Phillies have the misfortune of sharing the same division with those powerhouse Atlanta Braves, but the Phils are still a threat to take one of the two National League wildcard spots. Hey, this ain’t the 1993 World Series, though Philadelphia always seems to do well in the old Skydome. HR masher Kyle Schwarber has launched more than a few balls out of the old Dome. He’s once again enjoying a stellar power season.
Tuesday, June 9th – 10:05 pm Eastern
Milwaukee Brewers at The Athletics
The Brewers look good yet again and have opened up a bit of a lead over the St. Louis Cardinals in the competitive NL Central Division. Tonight, the Brew Crew visit Sacramento to tangle with the displaced A’s, who are close to the top spot in the underperforming AL West Division.
Wednesday, June 10th – 4:10 pm Eastern
Cincinnati Reds at San Diego Padres
Always a good time for a ball game in beautiful Petco Park. And once again, the hometown Padres are providing yet another reason to head on down to the ballpark. They’ve cooled off a bit recently, but still remain within spitting distance of the NL West front-running L.A. Dodgers. Hey! There’s no spitting in baseball!! Actually, there’s a lot of spitting in baseball.
Thursday, June 11th – 1:10 pm Eastern
Arizona Diamondbacks at Miami Marlins
Anybody gonna be in Miami for this afternoon’s tilt? The Marlins are attendance-challenged, and being only ahead of the woeful New York Mets in the National League East Division doesn’t help the marketing division. They play host to a DBacks squad that has snuck up on the Padres in a battle for second spot in the NL West…and a wildcard invite.
Friday, June 12th – 7:37 pm Eastern
New York Yankees at Toronto Blue Jays
Always a ton of Pinstripes fans when the Yankees arrive in town. It’s the first time back for New York since losing to the Jays in the 2025 post-season. This time around, the Yanks have been in or just behind the Tampa Bay Rays for first place in the American League East, while the Blue Jays continue to strive for consistency. The Jays may be buried somewhat in the AL East, but they are still in the race for an American League wildcard spot. These two teams split a four-game series at Yankee Stadium back in mid-May.
