Saturday, June 13th – 3:07 pm Eastern
New York Yankees at Toronto Blue Jays
Life without All-Star slugger Aaron Judge isn’t easy, but the Yankees continue to keep pace with the Tampa Bay Rays in the high-rent district in the American League East. This afternoon, they tangle with a Blue Jays’ roster that is slowly getting back some of their injured players. But when is MLB All-Star slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. going to heat up? Toronto is in the mix for an American League wildcard spot and sits well behind the Yanks and Rays.
Sunday, June 14th – 2:10 pm Eastern
Los Angeles Dodgers at Chicago White Sox
How ‘bout dem White Sox? They recently took both games in a quick two-gamer with the powerhouse Atlanta Braves (6-5 and 2-1). Unthinkable a scant year or two ago. But this is 2026, and the Chisox have been sitting in first place in the AL Central Division. Okay, so it’s not a Group of Death by any means, but first place is first place. Can they hold it against the likes of the Cleveland Guardians, the only other team in that division that’s currently playing above .500 baseball? As for the Dodgers, it’s first place in the NL West again. Ho hum. That’s what they do. Playing well over .600 baseball. Impressive.
Monday, June 15th – 8:05 pm Eastern
Minnesota Twins at Texas Rangers
It’s the Washington Senators against the Washington Senators (look it up). More importantly, it’s two teams tonight that can’t seem to find their way back to the .500 mark. Well, the Rangers are the closest to the break-even point, and that’s keeping them in the race for top spot in the weak American League West division. The Twins reside in the AL Central, where the aforementioned White Sox and Guardians are head-and-shoulders above everyone else. Wild card spot, you say? Well, the Twins are indeed very close, while the Rangers have been occupying one of the two spots in recent days. A lot to play for in this mid-June matchup.
Tuesday, June 16th – 6:45 pm Eastern
Toronto Blue Jays at Boston Red Sox
Two American League East rivals meet up at historic Fenway Park as we enter the second half of June. It hasn’t been a season to write home about for either team just yet, though the Blue Jays are at least in the thick of contention for an American League wildcard spot. The Red Sox fired most of their coaching staff not all that long ago, and the result is they’re still mired in last place in the division, barely above the .400 mark. That’s a great batting average when Red Sox legend Ted Williams was hitting. It’s a lousy winning average for a baseball team.
Wednesday, June 17th – 8:05 pm Eastern
Colorado Rockies at Chicago Cubs
Historic Wrigley Field is the venue for this Wednesday night matchup under the lights between the host Cubs and the visiting Rockies. Chicago is in the tough NL Central Division, and they’re fighting to keep up with the likes of the Brewers, Cardinals, and Pirates. The Rockies reside in the NL West, and let’s be honest…the 2026 season is already all but over for the men in purple. They’ve been playing under .400 baseball for most of the campaign. Easy win for the Cubs?
Thursday, June 18th – 7:15 pm Eastern
San Francisco Giants at Atlanta Braves
The class of the Majors welcomes a Giants’ team that is also playing as though its season is already done. SF are lucky the Rockies are in their division, as that keeps them out of the basement. SF also means science fiction, and it would take a real whopper of an Isaac Asimov story for the Giants to rise up and make a run during the second half of this season.
Friday, June 19th – 2:20 pm Eastern
Toronto Blue Jays at Chicago Cubs
A rare Blue Jays’ sighting at the Friendly Confines. Both teams could really use the win. Toronto are in the midst of the AL wildcard race, while Chicago finds itself in a similar position in the National League. Blue Jays fans will make the pilgrimage to the Windy City for this weekend’s matchup.
