Saturday, June 27th – 3:07 pm Eastern
Texas Rangers at Toronto Blue Jays

Always a chance for fireworks when the Rangers take on the Blue Jays. This season, both these teams are in the middle of the American League wildcard race, so this series in late June packs more of a punch than previously anticipated. Toronto have been struggling to get back to the break-even mark and did so with a recent 4-2 win over the visiting Houston Astros, only to fall back under the .500 mark the next afternoon following a 9-7 loss in 11 innings. That game marked the season debut of Jays’ starting pitcher Shane Bieber. He was rocked for three straight Houston home runs in the 4th inning. Taylor Trammel hit the third of the bombs, sending it into the 5th deck of the Rogers’ Centre…only the 25th time that has happened since the park opened in 1989.

Sunday, June 28th – 2:10 pm Eastern
Chicago Cubs at Milwaukee Brewers

Always got time for the Brew Crew and the Cubbies. This rivalry has blossomed since MLB moved Milwaukee from the American League over to the National League back in 1998. Here in 2026, the Brewers are enjoying life in the NL Central, leading the pack at we come up to the halfway mark of the season. Chicago and the St. Louis Cardinals are next-in-line in this group, with the NL wildcard beckoning.

Monday, June 29th – 7:07 pm Eastern
New York Mets at Toronto Blue Jays

Always in the middle of things are the New York Mets. Okay, maybe not in the middle of a pennant race this season, but the Mets are always interesting. Of interest to the Blue Jays is finishing the first half of this season on a good note, as it’s been an underwhelming 2026 season to date. Injuries to key players has certainly been a factor, but that can be said for most of the teams in both leagues.

Tuesday, June 30th – 7:15 pm Eastern
St. Louis Cardinals at Atlanta Braves

Always interesting to watch the MLB leading Braves work their magic, this time welcoming in the Cardinals. As of this writing, only the Braves, Brewers, Yankees and Dodgers are playing at or over .600 baseball. Atlanta has the National League East division all to itself, with the closest challengers being the Philadelphia Phillies.

Wednesday, July 1st – 6:40 pm Eastern
Pittsburgh Pirates at Philadelphia Phillies

Speaking of the Phillies…always a good time when the two Keystone State teams meet up on the diamond. It’s a brand-new month, and the unofficial middle point of the season (the MLB All-Star Game) is fast approaching. As discussed, the Phillies are second in the NL East, trailing the MLB leading Atlanta Braves. Tonight they welcome in a Pirates’ squad that have been playing .500 ball over in the NL Central Division. It’s a tough division, so that has the Pirates miles away from first place.

Thursday, July 2nd – 10:10 pm Eastern
San Diego Padres at Los Angeles Dodgers

Always a good game when the Padres do battle with the Dodgers. The defending World Series Champions are once again running away with the National League West division, with only their southern California rivals close to keeping pace. San Diego are barely above .500, but that’s been good enough for second spot in this group. Like so many teams throughout baseball this season, the wildcard slots are much closer than first place. No reason to see this changing in the months ahead.

Friday, July 3rd – 10:10 pm Eastern
Toronto Blue Jays at Seattle Mariners

Always a ton of Blue Jays’ fans in the stands when Toronto visits the Seattle Mariners. The two 1977 expansion cousins met up last autumn for the second time ever in the post-season, with the Blue Jays advancing to the World Series after a tight seven-game series. The Mariners are yet to make an appearance in the Series.  Eight months later, both teams are close to the break-even mark. Seattle have been a couple of games up on the positive side of the ledger, which has had them sitting tenuously in first place in the American League West. Toronto keeps trying to climb back to the .500 mark.
